Actually I do know this person, this is Jon Cutrell the designer of the Calendar gardens. Not too long ago, Jon, and his employee Pam, and I spent a few hours taking pictures, and enjoying each others company, it was a most enjoyable day.

I realize this is a bit dark, but for me it worked, I did lighten his face a tad.

This is the same spot as my posting "Kathleens Serenity". Thanks for commenting.

I like the way the darkness fall over a lot of Jon. Excellent scene, and really nice work, Sandi.

Well I can certainly see why you all go there. A nice little tucked away piece of serenity. I think the foreground shadowed and that patch of sunlight just pulls me into the image.

I thought you had happened upon a mountain man back from the hills, Tigz. He looks good with that great scene behind him.
Wonderful shot.

A nicely calming and reflective place. Maybe this is where Jon gets his ideas. He looks happy.

Sandi - I think the dark offers greater contrast for the brightly lit trees across the pond. Thad

This is delightful! I like Mr. Cutrell: his face and pose give personality to the image. As for the darkness - I think that it adds dimension to the image, make it dynamic and real. I likes.
