One from awhile ago at the Calendar gardens. I have no idea what this lovely is, and wonder if someone can name her for me.

I want to let you know that I will not be posting till Monday, I'm leaving early Saturday morning for the weekend, to see my favorite country performer .

I hope you all have a good weekend, and thanks for commenting.

Richie is right Sandi it's a type of buddleia or butterfly bush - they come in various purple, pink or white shades and have a long pointed leaf as in your image. It's a wonderful shot.

That is indeed a Bottle Brush. Do you have idea how many of these I have tried to capture-unsuccessfully I might add? Gr-r-r-r-r

The leaves suggest to me it is a type of buddleia.I have two bottles brushes growing in garden and they are not like this at all.
Whatever it is it is vey pretty and well taken Sandi.
Have a great time! :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
