One more shot of this pretty little flower that comes up early, and was growing in my mom's neighbors yard.

Susanne (SEFA) thinks they are ""Scilla amoena" also known as "Blue Star".

Thank you for the views, and comments my friends.

Not as sharply focused as I'm used to seeing from you, Tigs. The soft focus compliments the subject beautifully; so I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume that you posted exactly what you wanted. Dark background makes the flower "pop". Except for the fact that it's a Friday foofy flower shot, I like it.

Very pretty, and nicely encompassed with those stalks. I think you just didn't sharpen quite enough. The blooms are fine with a couple of clicks of Sharpen. A crop from the top about 2/3rds of the way to the blossoms increases impact substantially.

I believe it is Scilla Sandi - it grows wild all over the place in my area at this time of year - they are so tiny this shot is amazing.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
