My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Gorgeous colors that pop against the left-over fall colors on the ground! This really makes my day Sandi! We have a winter storm warning for 6 to 9 inches and it is already snowing here in my part of the world.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Sandi this is a type scilla - I think it is Scilla sibirica or Siberian squill. Blooms in March and April and is self sowing so is frequently found in large drifts. It very plentiful in our area. It belongs to the hyacinth family. Nice capture.
There are many points of interest in your picture though the focal point is the scilla. Upper left corner is an interesting plant with wonderful color and shape. Also there are numerous little banana like sprouts varying in color from green to red. the background of leaves add just the right amount of interest to the scene. Nice one Sandi.
Great focus and clarity !
