Oh what a little cutie! I love how you got that sheen on his bill - really rich tones and textures in this.

A cute duckling & I like how the B & W brought out his/her feathery detail. A wonderful one for the challenge. Very well done, Sandi.

Bless all the little ones hidin' out in the grass, especially this time of year. I would never have thought but it does work in B&W, it brings out the little duckling's feathers.

He's a cute little quack Sandi. He has nice sheen on his bill. Though there is a lot of competition for spotlight with the grasses the duck wins out and is a great subject.

To me, Tigs, I've noticed that the B/W contest might be skewing the curve. This certainly seems that it would be a much finer image in color. That being said, you did a fine job of capturing this little guy. A fine highlight in his eye, and his bill almost looks like chrome. Maybe you'll post the color version on FB.

Good work with this capture Sandi. Nice lighting and details in the photo and a good b/w presentation of the cute little duckie.
