That was my thought when I saw this swallowtail, at the Calendar gardens.

Thank you for the views, and comments.

Nice focus Sandi and the color is beautiful. Those butterflies get a little rugged looking as time goes on. Lot of wear and tear in their busy life flitting around.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.

This is really a BUTTERfly = butter coloured beauty. No use for us as an agent though LOL No disguising skills as far as the name is concerned. Yes, autumn starts to show and the images like this one will become rare... Sweet composition and yellow butter colour. HOWGH.

Now that looks terrific Sandi, the colors are lovely, your DOF is great and it is in my opinion very sharp and well composed image. Very very nice work, thanks.

Mrs b was worried that the title referred to her! But no, it refers to this gorgeous butterfly that stands out so well against the lovely background.

Excellent composition, Sandi. Two extremely small clones will perfect it.
Both are along the top border. The first is the tiny bit of flower stalk that exits the border, and the other is that half moon bit of white, resting against the green.
Seemingly inconsequential, but see the difference it makes.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
