I caught this shot a few days ago, with the canon 40D and canon 70-300 IS USM lens. I just saw one at the feeder while typing this on the laptop this morning. I'm hearing reports from friends the hummers are starting to migrate, but so far there are two visiting the feeder here at my moms.

SOB as a secret agent boss for UK should know better which friends are referred to. LOL Hummers are our little friends.
Here the migration is in full swing, only no hummers... Geese mostly or in any case birds which make a terrible noise at night when calling one another to gather for departure.
Last night we have been listening to the noises they made for two hours or so. Now we can also add to your report also migration of big birds, like geese from here.

It is sad that they must go but they will return and you can have another chance to take their sweet little picture. At least these have lingered around for you. I have only seen a few this year. Glad you enticed them in. Good shooting Sandi.
