Here are three of the five cute cubs that are now calling Exotic Feline Rescue Center home.

During my stay there I picked up one of their books and did some reading about the Joe Taft the founder of EFRC and thought I would share some of it with you.

After college he lived in New Mexico, and he bought a Ocelot, his dream at that time was to have a Ocelot, and drive around in a Lotus. He ended up with the Ocelot, and an MG. That ocelot lived with him for 19 years.

Around the time that his beloved pet died,he started seeing the abuse, and neglect of exotic cats, and had the desire to do something about it. He ended up in Indiana, where he bought a few acres of land that over time ended up being about 100 acres as the need increased. He know has about 230 big cats, mostly tigers, but lions, cougars, leopards, lynx, and more.

He would like to see the need for such places as his not be needed, but I doubt that will ever happen.

There are way to many cases of abuse, and neglect, and also those that acquire them in good faith thinking they can take of them, but find out soon, that is much more than what they can handle.

This is my current challenge entry, and thank you for your comments, I hope you enjoy the series, as much as I enjoy sharing with you.

Tigs♥ =^..^=

So wasn't I right about them being but kittens, sweet and curious like our own home kitties ? Love how they try to get a place in your picture almost climbing onto one another ! LOL
Superb entry for LE's fiesta.

The treatment and composition together equal one formidable image for the B&W challenge.

Wonderful effect, Tigz.
They seem a dangerous pet for those who have no idea how to care for them. Good thing there are some "Good Joes," in the world.

Awwww...they are so cute...would probably not play well with my cats. As for the care and feeding of them my half dozen or more at times are quite a deal to take care of. They are supposed to be the domesticated kind...well they are getting better. Good treatment and nice entry Sandi.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The setting with the three cubs is wonderful but what elevates this image above the usual is the B&W treatment which gives it an air of a photograph in an old book.
