I'm sorry I don't remember what kind of fox this is, but it calls Black Pine Animal Sanctuary home.

I was trying to go for something different, and dramatic for the plight of all abused animals.

This is going to be an entry for the Wednesday B&W challenge. You still have plenty of time to get yours ready.

Thank you for commenting.

Sharp focus in this well captured portrait of the fox Sandi. He/She looks as if lost in thoughts.

It seems to have a twisted snout Sandi!...(Maybe because of abuse?)

Excellent work that you did on this...and a cool one for Lyn!

The fox has such an appealing expression - it serves well for the purpose of bringing the plight of abused animals to our attention. Very well done Sandi, and another welcome addition to the BWC :)

A world-weary little fox... I'm glad he/she made it to a sanctuary, though. Sandi, your portrait is filled with detail and quiet emotion.

Wow! What a truly amazing job you did on this Sandi. It looks like a skilled artist painted it. That face has so much character in it...the tilt and the expression. Excellent b&w choice.

He's gorgeous, what amazing markings, excellent close up. He does look like a Artic Fox before the winter hits. Arctic foxes have sometimes blue-gray coats that act as very effective winter camouflage.

Right into my favs. Magnificent Challenge entry, it'll be chosen really fast
