One from early autumn, that I just discovered last year, and it's not that far from home. Not sure about the word wildlife as I really did not see much of that, and it is not a free range animal park, but the park is lovely, and makes for a nice way to spend some time taking pics. and is worth visiting again.
This is actually the same park that that this post was taken .

It's sunny here today, and actually pretty outside, but man is is ever cold still -4 and they have wind chill warnings posted, which makes it feel like -21.

As European I have to convert degrees Fahrenheit into degrees Celsius to get some impression about the cold where you are suffering from, Sandi. I realize that the wind chill factor isn't a part of this conversion, so the real situation is even more worse. Your fine posting provides a good perspective for better times.

This would be so nice to walk today Sandi!! - This looks like a spot to investigate further this spring. Still minus 5 here but wind chill is down to -29 so that's progress.

This looks like a nice place for strolling and taking photos. The shadows on the path add to the beauty of this late summer/early autumn scene Sandi.

This is good therapy to get your mind off the freezing temps...look at photos of warmer days. Nicely done Sandi.
