People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
Your manipulation reminds be of the film The Blair Witch Project it's one of the few films I almost walked out off simply because it was so awful, not that I'm suggesting the same of your b/w upload.

Dear Customer Service: First of all, you should know I am typing this with my middle finger...
early in the morning creeping into the woods just before the sunlight paints the way. all one sees is this, shadows! it truly reminds me of an early morning bow hunt or working my way through the brush to get in the wilderness just before the suns up, for that attempt on the perfect picture. the little foot bridge with the shadows & light painted across it makes the picture. nice placement of the sun light as well. this texture emulates the excitiment entering the forest at this time.
