This is one from my visit to potawatomi wildlife park, in early autumn. This is the entrance to this lovely nature area, which is just a short drive for me, and I will be going back.
This is a lovely nature area for just taking a nice walk with the camera in hand.Tthe word potawatomi comes from the Indian tribes that were once in this area.

It's wildlife if there's birds and animals there as opposed to them being behind bars..Take a few nuts a sit quietly and they will come..Nice one this..R.

I love walking through pine forests on a solid bed of fallen pine needles. There's always that pine smell in the air...almost like those green little trees you hang in the car for taking care of unwanted odors (lol). This path is most inviting, Tigs. Cool shadows too. Fantastico!

Love the sunlight in this photography and the detail is lovely and sharp ,plus the shadows playing across the path adds a nice feel to this photo to with great depth of field as well.

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just don't have any film.
Love the excellent combination of fine fall tones and perspective/depth in this one Sandi. The image exudes a certain warmth as well: very useful for the ones who still are suffering from the cold, lol.

interesting picture, heres why: now i could be wrong but that rarely happens(ask my wife lol)..well there was this one time but it turns out i was just mistaken is all :) there's a huge reason why those pines have that vertical pattern or in-a-row like formation. yes its obvious they were planted that way but by who? provided its the same reason here in MI, which im sure it was. has to do with one President & a policy he put into action with the creation of an organization.
i got married in the summer of 93, at dawns break, just as the sun came through the tree's in rays or beams of light, at a spot that looks exactly like this. yes it was planned that way, Dodge park #5 in MI. got your curiousity going now?(wink wink) lol
