This little fox is actually a Red Fox, they are bred by humans to get different results. Black Pine has 3 of them and they do not do any breeding they are only a safe place to call home. I'm not sure of the story that brought the three little foxes to Black Pine, but they do have a permanent home there.

Used the canon 40D with the Canon 70-300 IS USM lens for all of the shots taken this day, and used continuous shooting at a fstop of 16 for all of them, and ISO 400. I had to lighten the eyes using perfect effects 4 .

Thank you for commenting.

A good looking animal....I don't agree with a lot of 'in breeding' unless it is for the betterment of the animal

I know that flamingoes turn red from eating shrimps but a red fox turning white? Good capture with sharp focus Sandi.

This is a good looking "Red Fox", majestically being king of that crate. Love the fur on top of his head, soft and fluffy. Bravo Sandi!

Sandi, if you check-out THIS LINK you can read that already in the medieval times (about 1150) people in Holland, Germany and France knew that these rascals are very clever. They wrote even books and poems about them.

See by its wonderful eyes that this is a clever one. Perhaps he or she knows a lot of tricks too.

Thanks for this very fine capture.

Regards, Cornelius.

I can't understand why people keep wild/dangerous animals as pets in the US, it's never been legal in the UK. Selective breeding too, it makes me sick.

Rant over Tigz thanks for sharing this fine image. (o:
