Talk about a restless night of sleep, I'm up very early, and already had a cup of coffee.

Anyway here is my post for the day-A redwing blackbird flying over open water.

This was heavily cropped, and after several editing attempts, I decided this was it! :) Thank you for commenting.

I'm curious what was the reason for that Sandi. I hope that everything is okay.

Thanks for this hard to capture but wonderful image. Good post work!

Take care and regards, Cornelius.

The third beak is the right wing tip, and it's a really nice shot, Sandi. The frame works well too.

Love the composition in this photo and the black and red against that stunning blue sky makes for one excellent looking photography with stunning light as well.

Very nice shot Sandi. I never see these birds except here so it's always a treat. The dark bird flying against the beautiful blue water could not have been an easy shot, but you got excellent details. (you can nap now, lol)

Somehow, and I don't know why, I really get excited about seeing blackbirds, crows, rooks, and ravens especially in flight. Maybe its the way they interact with us. This is a nice black wing Sandi. A good motion capture.

The red on black is certainly striking. Daylight saving finished on the East coast of Australia last night. Slept well but just not sure what time it is!
