This will probably be the only picture of me you will see on Caedes. Lol! As much as I love photography, I have never liked my picture taken, as you can see in this oldie of me, I was pouting.
An old neighbor of ours from many years ago, recently emailed me this oldie. I'm not sure of the exact date, but it is early 60's.
My entry for the B&W challenge. This was originally in color. We were living in Redwood City, California at the time, and I lived there till 1982. Thank you for commenting.

I've often wondered what many of our friends here in Caedes look like (with the exception of Owd Bob who is quite photogenic as he tests assorted benches for sleep quality.) The cowboy in my 'NYC 'post is not me. (hard to believe, huh?)

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.

I'm with you on the picture taking Sandi - I never liked it either and still don't - having said that this is a cute picture - you have that sullen preteen look I remember so well.

It was such an occasion to have ones photo taken in those days and you obviously took it very seriously Sandi !

A lovely, nostalgic image Sandi and perfect for The B&W Challenge. I'm with you concerning photos of me, I hate them. I look and feel awkward unlike my late brother who instantly fell into the perfect, relaxed pose whenever a camera was produced.

Although its pretty hard to give an opinion based on only one image, think I'm right when I say that this is a serious girl with lots of self confidence. Please don't disagree with me, Sandi, lol.

I also have never liked posing for photos .
Perhaps it's from our childhood ... when we had to brush our hair and wear clothes we didn't like !
I can still hear my Mother telling us all to stand up straight and be still . Like that was natural!! lol I love photos like this .

Another thing that makes me wonder is that at least in my case I have looked like a young fattie with enormously long legs... Things have not changed much, but legs suddenly grew short! gggrrr

They really had you at attention didn't they. I bet you haven't changed a bit. Me, on the other hand, was the shy smiley type. Sounds like a great idea about seeing the members when they were young. This is a great one for the challenge.
