I spent some time at the Calendar gardens yesterday. Jon the master gardener spotted this garter snake, and it made for a good photo opt.

Thank you for commenting.

I would also like to say that I hope everyone of our caedes friends that have been dealing with harsh weather, are all okay!

A rare find and a good capture of it Sandi. I saw on TV some of the destructions caused by the tornadoes. It is awful, really terrible!

This little garter should be fast asleep for me to manage with taking my camera out of its cover and getting ready, aim and shoot :)
Fine snake, Boris and I do not have anything against them - harmless and odourless [to canine nose:)]

The little snake looks to be a friendly sort, but I don't think I would take it home to meet the family! Excellent shot, Sandi.

Think that the people who are dealing now with harsh weather, had a good hope that they would have a wonderful spring after a severe winter. But they have to take it as it comes. Hope anyhow that they will stay safe.

Thanks for this fine image of an 'adorable cutie'. Give it a hug Sandi, lol. Well taken though!!

Regards, Cornelius.

This is amazing in full view, Sandi. While this little fella is harmless, snakes and I just don't get along.

It is that time of year, Tigz. I have been called a snake in the grass before. :)
Cool capture.

A good close up on the snake, Sandi. Good details and colours in the image. I came across one the other day but didn't have a camera with me at the time.
