I love all irises! This is just second after the completely dark reddish brownish almost black one. The colours and lighting here are superb, dear SAS. Irises are gone here already ...

Thanks for the Father's Day wish Sandi. I'd like to imagine this Iris as a loving Father with its arms outstretched to receive its beautiful children. I believe every Father wants to relive those moments when their children were young and he could scoop them off the ground into his arms showering them with loving kindness. All children are grown now and and Daddy has his memories. Thanks Sandi...this foofy is perfect for today.
