A display of colorful plantings I took at Stotts Garden, using the canon 40D with the canon 40mm lens.

The gardener at the calendar gardens (Pam) is friends with Deb Stott, and Pam has told me next year that she will take me to the gardens for pics.

Editing done: resize, a bit of color enhancement, contrast adj. and a touch of sharpening.

Thank you for your comments.

As Bob mentioned, plenty of colors and the contrasts they provide. The plants in the back appear as if they do not get the same available sunlight as those in the front. I am sure, as the day moves on, so will the sun and all plants will get what they need. They are all very healthy looking. It just points out how resilient plants (and people) are.

What a wonderful selection of colour and texture in these plants. Well captured Sandi, just the right exposure makes this perfect.

It is really amazing how you picked up all the detail in this image all the way through Sandi. It is sharp focus from top to bottom. I'm impressed with it and you didn't combine images to achieve this. You may has used sharpening a bit but it was probably good to begin with. At least for this kind of imagery that lens is worth the money.
