This reminds me a quote from the radio play based on "Murder on the Orient Express" when the Countess Dragomiroff says in her imperial tone: "And for dinner you shall arrange that I have a chicken cooked without sauces or boiled fish with sauce." The princess was played by Sian Philips! Good classic shot, dear SAS. And excuse my weird sense of humour, but it has been raining for 36 hours here and I am stuck at home with one dog who badly wants to go out and sniff some trails of canine females... SAM & SAAB
Sandi, in spite of the lush green that surrounds the fallen leaf, your image does remind me of the fall. I'm glad however that we're still at the beginning of the summer and that fall isn't near yet.

The solitary brown leaf gives its all that the new life can go on. A reminder that although the autumn of life must come there is a gift in it for the next generation. There lies a legacy of life spent to the full. Good placement of your subject Sandi and I do go on with my poetic self some times. Your image is very very sharp. That pancake is a sweet lens.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
