This is a new planting at Central Park, our local gardens in town. I was trying to single her out,, and give a different angle.

My foofy for the day.

Canon 70-200 L lens (160mm)

Thanks for the comments, and I hope everyone has a pleasant day.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

As a kid, I was always enthralled with Snap Dragons because my Grandfather showed me how they could snap. I haven't seen them for years, especially over here in Italy. You brought back some fine memories with this beautiful post Sandi. Grazie!

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.

Sharp focus and details and a nice colour on the flower Sandi. It looks like a tropical flower.

If my mother was a live still she would love this like me ,her garden was full of this plant. And this is a lovely culture of these flowers and I love the deep blood red colour they have plus lovely composition too. Also so when you enlarge this photo it brings out the detail superbly too.

I love snapdragons Sandi and they like cooler weather so I'm sure they are flourishing in your park since this is not a particularly hot summer thus far. An excellent foofy image.

Red is a hard color to get right but you did a great job Sandi. The sharpness is real nice also. They do have a velvety look don't they.
