My sweet little friend was visiting her grandparents, and we gave a short photo session another try.

This time I tried using the 17/70 sigma lens with the canon 40D.

Those are morning glories in the picture, but really sparse. I could have done some cloning I guess to put more in, but as you can see I did not do that. :)

Thank you for the views, and comments.

Nice practice you are getting, dearest SAS, in portrait works!:)
Sorry for absence - work, work and more work...
Might drop by every now and then on Caedes - not certain about Skype [fearing of getting distracted from the legal and technical subjects I am working on:)]

She does make a great model Sandi and this is a cute pose. I agree that a touch brighter might bring out more of her face.

It's a lovely shot, Sandi. You do keep forgetting to use the Flash as Fill light for those deep shadows. The camera computer only sets itself to provide enough light to balance the deep shadows with the overall existing light. The shadows can still be there, but almost transparent.

Sandi, I can to a certain extent not agree with some comments because to me it's not a model, because she's a spontaneous and friendly girl, portrayed by you very well.

Regards, Cornelius.
