I took this one with the 40mm (pancake lens) awhile back.
We are going to have a very rainy day here today, with a chance of strong winds. Raining now, and of course we lost reception on the tv, I will take music over the tv any day! Lol! Very few shows on tv these days I feel are worth watching, and we have all those channels. ??? You will have that I guess. :)

i agree with music vs tv, i gave up on tv..nonreality-reality tv is just an insult to my intelligences..or is spelled intelligents..huumm! nonetheless, someone is holding the camera..DUUH! dont people realise that! oh dang i just realized i spelled realise wrong...what were we taking about anyways? OH DEAR! the wife is right, its ADHD!
oh yeah i remember! this is great shot Tigs. soon they will fall in full color. love the shadow effect. gives a nice 3D to the leaf. you look at it one way and it looks embedded with that bevel & emboss-shadow drop down look. nicely composed with the gradient shadow coming down on an angle halfway. not sure if you edited that way or it was in the shot? great effect! you are getting the hang of this AV stuff! no stopping you now my dear friend!

That green leaf looks very nice on the brown textured background Sandi. My favourite programmes on TV are news and nature documentaries.

I'll take music too, I'm still mad at my son, he didn't get me in to see the Eagles, one of my favorite groups. Pay back time, I won't take him with me to see the Beach Boys.

Got some nice shadow and texture going on here Sandi. Not long from now those greens will be shifting to Fall colors. I hardly ever lose reception but maybe that's because I have on Netflicks.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.
It is a great metaphor to use whenever the need to come up to "leave" somewhere. I know what you mean about TV. It seems that it has deteriorated to about 50% commercials. I find that reading or streaming (or being here on the internet) fills that time spent previously on TV.

Simplicity at it's best and the lighting really shows off the outstanding detail in the back of the maple leaf. As for tv vs music, I listen to music on my computer in iTunes, it is a great way to work on the computer, of course I love classical and also Il Volo...Takes Flight (3 young Tenors), plus Julio Iglesias
