Sandi, I would almost gave it a hug, but think it's wise not to do that.

Excellent B&W-version (with a slightly touch of sepia?) of this 'Royal Portrait' (because of King Lion). Ditto entry for the challenge.

Regards, Cornelius.

A wonderful portraiture here Sandi!...you made it look like a sketch, which I do like!

This big cat has been run through several of your edits; each one turning out beautifully. B/W looks "fantastico", especially with those green eyes. Way to go, Sandi!

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.

The wonderful fur texture makes this so realistic Sandi, and with those green eyes so intent I think this is a top notch image.

Will do well in the BWC :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

It looks great in B&W - I might even prefer that as the eyes stand out more in this one.

I must say this looks great in this filter effect with the eyes still having colour and the textures are stunning .Plus I love the detail and how the head seems to be coming out from the background as well.

Makes me think of an old b/w Tarzan movie, Tigz.

Wow it looks as if it is going to stick its head out of that frame. Best not to stare into those green eyes so intently. Nice textured filter and it will do well in the challenge Sandi.

Nice kitty. Now break out the steaks and distract it long enough so I can get out of sight. Good post work on the image, Sandi.
