One of the encampments that were set up at the festival.

I want to announce that today marks a very memorable day for caedes.

11 years ago today Caedes gained a new member that would bring lots of fun for those of us who were lucky enough to make friends with SAM (Marzena). Marz We just never know what she will have to say or what mission she might give us, but she is a talented member with a crazy sense of humor. One year later after joining caedes, she also brought us her 4 legged mission fighter SAAB (Boris). I love hearing the stories of his behavior good and bad. I do believe they make the perfect team! SAM, congrats on your 11 years here at caedes.

I thank you in advance for your comments, and congrats to a great lady.

=^..^=♥SAS

This looks nice with all the patches of light in the mostly shaded area Sandi. Have already congratulated SAM earlier.

Lots of things to look at. You captured this in a great way. Love the light/shadow play.
I too want to say congrats to Marzena and thanks for the many laughs. How time flies. Can't understand how fast the years are passing by.

I love the dappled light in this shot, and the many interesting things to look at. It has a slight HDR look to it too...not over done at all. Excellent work, Sandi.

Congrats to our SAM for her 11 years on here. It is a pleasure to know her and Boris.

The SOS would be lost without her and SAAB, SAS.
That is if she belonged to them. Whew, I almost blew her cover.
Good dedication and Happy Anniversary SAM & SAAB.

Sandi, I already offered on another occasion my congrats to the illustrious undercover duo SAM & her CIC (Companion In Crime) SAAB. I agree fully with you what you've written in your narrative. Hope that she may continue the Ceades-membership at least until she becomes 85 years young, lol.

Thanks for a fine addition to your wonderful series!

Sandi - For me, roughing it is a motel, though I camped as a child. This was a challenging photo, with such lighting contrasts, and you captured it well. Happy 11th Caedes Anniversary, Marzena! Thad

Well done on this challenging shot, Sandi. I enjoy visiting the annual encampments held at Fort Ticonderoga, NY as the participants really get into roll and live this way for a weekend. Congrats to SAM, SAAB and their "team" for 11 wonderful years!

Human nature is really bewildering. If there were people in the pic, I would have said: Why not cloned? Since there is nobody, I am asking how about some person, at least one? LOL
Great tones with or without occupants though!
Modest thanks for celebrating the great international anniversary of mine!!!
To hell with modesty LOL
Drinks, all drinks are on me, girls and boys!!!

Great shot! Makes you wonder how many of these campsites were set up over the years? You can almost see the people from years past in the photo.

Love the tones in this - the lighting adds an old fashioned look and I like the emphasis on the timber grain.
