During my visits to Stotts-a private residence who shared their lovely garden with the public for the last time in 2014, I tried so many times to get a decent shot of this lovely little stream that sits at the bottom of a hilly slope, and it runs at the edge of their property line.

There is a weathered bench nearby so you can sit, relax, and enjoy the peaceful harmony of the moment. Thank you for your comments.

The light and shadow play is intriguing, Sandi. I imagine the trickle sounds of water were most calming. A weathered bench for a weathered friend of ours (OB).

Sandi, I see by Bob's comment that he already has noticed this, so think he will do some reservations in the summertime for an outdoors nap. The wonderful environment and the sound of the rippling stream is very relaxing. Think therefore it's wise to provide the visitors with ear plugs when the Owd Mucker has his 'siesta', lol.

Thanks for this very fine image!

Very nice exposure and contrast Sandi. Your image shows great detail in all the rocks. I like the saturation in here also. Sad that they had to close it down to the public. I know how the public can be.

Sounds like my kind of place. I need a bench every so often when I go out taking pictures. My daughter said I have Oldtimers Disease. Beautiful shot of the rocks and the little stream, Sandi.
