I'm ready for this color over white. :) It means it won't be 0 degrees outside.

I found out that this plant is called Lamb's ear.

Thank you for commenting.

Intriguing texture! Great clarity, too. The leaves almost look like they are made out of some kind of fabric up close. Nice one.

I am still trying to get by the "hairy tongue," Giz suggested.
Great find and well shot.

Cool shot. Where is a praying mantis when you need one? Looks like the leaf has a few aphids.

It looks so soft to the touch! If it wasn't green it certainly would be a lambs ear :-) Superb Sandi!!!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

You're clearly not looking or you would see the many shades of blue in the snow and ice of winter. Or the deep greens of the evergreens and browns in the muddy slush, or at least you hope it's mud.
Nice textures and colours in the photo, Sandi. A good close up on the bloom.
