I think I like this one better Sandi. The leaves on the ground also look better here.

The best part of this photo to me is the stone wall of many colored rocks Sandi

The remake is a brighter one without loss of tones and contrast, so you've done a good job Sandi. Your treatment has enhanced the texture as well. My compliments.

With this rework the tree trunks and footbridge are more visible, while the pond is reflecting the blue sky now. I cannot rate the different qualities between the images as "art is in the eye of the beholder"

Both images get a definite thumbs up from me Tigz.

I think I like the lighting much better in this, Sandi. The detail in the wall and the leaves are brought out better. Very nice remake.

Your editing skills are showing, Tigz. The remake makes the scene come to life. I think it is the lighting.

This lighter image is much more pleasing in my opinion Tigs for I can see much more detail in the image such as that gorgeous rock wall. The other image has its merits for the moodiness. This one feels happier.
