Here is another of the animals that the lady who runs a small animal rescue shelter has. She has two deer, that were actually born there after she saved the momma. They are about 5 years old I believe she told me.

I was able to pet the other one through the fencing, I was able to stroke it's neck. This one was laying down in the shelter, and the woman told my daughter, and i she was the shy one.

She just got done saying that when Lucy got up, and walked slowly towards me, and we began a game of head bobbing, whatever I did she would do. I would crouch down, and she would lower her head, if I went back up she would too, and side to side. It was so cool, and the my daughter, and lady really enjoyed watching us.

She did not seem shy of the camera either, I really enjoyed visiting this small animal rescue place, and have an invite to go back.

I'm up late, and about ready to hit it for the night, I have a feeling I will be pushing snow in the morning, and I know I will be on the phone as well.

I will be back on tomorrow to make my comments.

I posted this one this morning but it seemed dark to me, so I removed it, and tried a little more editig on it, hopefully that helped.

I did alot of cloning in this one, and did some layering. The dirt line was going right across at her neck line, and was so distracting. The color of the background here is what I cloned from a tarp she had up against the back fence.

Thank you for commenting, I will catch you tomorrow.

I hope you will view this one full screen. ☺

Wow - what a cutie and a wonderful experience for you and your daughter, Sandi. The curious look on Lucy's face was captured with skill and your editing efforts really paid off nicely. Good luck with the snow!

It seems that she sensed right away that you were a true lover of animals Sandi. Those actions are otherwise not normal for a deer. Nice capture of innocent looking Lucy.

Sandi, I enjoy both your narrative and well treated capture. Your love for animals is meanwhile well known to most of the Caedes friends. I like to give the advice to the ones who didn't know this, to read your narrative and to you see your picture twice, lol.

She has a sweet but inquisitive face Sandi and what a marvelous experience with her you had. this does have the look a bit of a drawing but not quite - whatever it worked well.
