Here is one from last year's bin. I did alot cropping off the top to get rid of the houses that were in the image.

Makes for an interesting and nice panoramic look with the cropping Sandi - they are sure interesting birds.

Love how you took this photo wide angle and the detail in the crane is suoerb and I love the textures in the grasses plus outstanding colours too.

The spot of red on the crane's head makes for an interesting focus point, Sandi. I too like the natural camouflage appearance.

Did you know that the orange color on its feathers is from the bird wiping its bill on them. Iron oxide in the soil stains the feathers orange. Who knew??????
