I removed my first post from this morning, but thank you for taking the time to comment, I need to do a fix on it, that I did not catch before.

This lovely little bloom was part of a hanging planter on the patio last year.

I used Lightroom 5 for the editing.

Thank you once again for your comments.

I thought that "Forthcoming 1" was quite good! This looks very nice too. The white flower shines so well against the dark background Sandi.

Unusual texture on the background...(Part of a fence?)

The depth is a cracker Sandi! with super highlighted tones!

Well chosen background so that this wonderful white flower gets all the attention.
Perfect editing for an already very good composition Sandi. Very well done my friend!

Tigs - I hope that Spring is "Forthcoming" rather sooner than later. Great shot - love the plant -it's a vinca. The green foliage and the background of your patio all go well together in this image. Well Done!!!

I like the patterned background of the container Sandi - it sets off this vinca periwinkle well.

The planter makes an excellent background for this singular flower presentation. It has a peaceful elegance to it. Nicely done Sandi.

Great capture of this tiny flower Sandi. Despite their pretty look these tiny flowers are extremely difficult to take shots. Even a bit wind disturbs all capture. Your shot is very successful and has a nice background.

Sandi - Using the decorative planter as the back ground, and lighting from above to the side with subsequent contrasts of light and shade, allowing the bloom to be lit, with the leaves dappled and part of the background, the effect is most pleasing. Very fine capture and presentation.

This is a creative shot, Sandi -- I particularly love the geometric design in the background. It gives an interesting contrast to the more organic lines of the plant.

The leaf is sharper than the flower (demanding its place in the spotlight!) but it's a pleasing image all the same.
