I removed my bridge posting from yesterday, and its is reworked, and will repost it on Sat. Now I have to decide if I want to enter this one or the bridge image in the contest, such decisions. I made this one dark to not only enhance the shadows, but give the tree line more of a contrast . :)

Thank you for commenting on the one yesterday, but it was suggested I should make an adj. which I know have done.

Thank you for your comments, their most appreciated.

In my opinion, this is much better for the contest! (Although the bridge shot was beautiful, too.) The shadows reach out into the field very nicely and the colors in the shot are outstanding. I love that sky. Well done, Sandi.

Like Jim (above) I also like the bridge shot, but this one has more fun shadows for the contest Sandi. A great shot. Good Luck in the contest.

I kinda like the bridge one!....has more contrasted lines in that!

This is also a beauty and both are worthy of a place in the contest!

I would have to choose this one Sandi - this has such deep and different shadows. A fave for me.

---such decisions---

I almost could hear your sigh Sandi, lol.

I prefer the bridge entry above this one as, to me, it meets better the contest topic. But of course it's up to you whether you choose this one or another one. Therefore I'm curious for your Saturdays post. We'll see and wait my friend!

Blend the bridge into this one and "presto" you have it Tig.
Just kidding!
I like dark scenes as you know, but I also like bridges.
It will be a tough choice for you. Either one is a winner.

I like the bridge shot. I thought that imzge had depth as well as the shadows from the bridge structure and would make a nicer entry. Decisions - Decisions!!!

I also feel that this will make a better entry than the bridge Sandi. Let us wait and see your repost of the bridge.

Sandi - An excellent contest entry - the long shadows and strong contrast of sky, tree line and snow make a wonderful winter image.

How will the people cross the river if you removed the bridge?

Nice deep shadows in this landscape, Sandi. Good depth and colour in the photo. I might have removed the vignetting from the top of the image, it makes the photo a little too dark.
