I have not seen many of these in this color, and she has been in the bin for sometime.

Using LR 5 I tried to bring out her lovely soft color, and her details.

Thank you for your comments.

Sandi - 'Using LR 5 I tried to bring out her lovely soft color, and her details.' On this you were most successful! The soft color, combined with a blend of detail and softness, is beautiful. Bravo!

I have just received very sad news from Susanne's daughter Emma. Our dear friend has lost her battle with cancer. My thoughts are with her family at this difficult time. She was such an enduring friend. I will miss her greatly.

Susanne will be missed Tigz.
I just read it on the Bulletin Board.
Your flower, and the softness of it, serves as a good reminder of our departed friend.

It's a rare color for a hibiscus to me as well Sandi. Love this wonderful Foofy Friday capture my friend!

Although it's almost 6 hours ago that I gave my spontaneous reaction on the very sad news about our friend Susanne's passing in the bulletin board, I'm still very sad (a kind of euphemism of mine). A terrible 'deja vu' to me as well. Sandi, we have underwent similar circumstances, so think to know your sad feelings too. This can't be expressed in words.

One of the things I always liked about many of Susanne's images was the wonderful lighting...that along with her gentle disposition makes this soft capture and warm lighting a lovely and fitting tribute to her...I am very sad to hear of her passing and will miss her.

It is hard to know what to say on the one hand the flower is so beautiful and your treatment of it is perfect and on the other hand I am deeply saddened at the news of our dear friend Susanne's passing. I can only say I pray the family receives comfort during this time. She will surely be missed.
