Here is another one from my recent visit to my favorite gardens. I was surprised to see the bees out already, I have not seen that before so early in the season. There were many of them, and they were very active.

I used the canon 40D with the canon 70-200 f4/L lens, used manual mode.

Thank you for commenting on my foofy post, have a nice day.

Very pretty colors and perfect focus on this Sandi. The bees add a lot to the photo. This is perfect for the first day spring!

Three bees at once! How lucky you are, Sandi. They don't seem to mind you taking pictures, either. The foofies are gorgeous and I really like the lighting in this, too. Well done. Happy Foofy Friday.

How gorgeous these flowers are and I agree to get three bees in one go so clearly is very well done :) Great focus and clarity.
I may have been tempted to crop off some of the right side where the dark mass is to allow more emphasis on the flowers and the pretty shadow they cast.
Happy Friday !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Cool capture Tigz I especially like the Bees, it's good to know you've still got them. The sunlight has bought out a lot of detail. (o:

Those flowers are really a knock out color Sandi. Cool focusing to get that specular light glint on the bee's eye. This is a great find for the first day of Spring.

As already mentioned, lovely lighting on these pretty lavender flowers and great work catching that one approaching bee so clearly...I can almost see 'eye to eye' with him.

the colours of the flowers & textures of the ground make for a stupendous shot Tigs!

Sharpness, focus and your luck are priceless!
We happened to spot a bumblebee buzzing low over the ground day before yesterday too.
Funny enough it realised we had no camera and stayed with us for good five minutes !!! gggrrrr
