Took a drive around yesterday, and spotted this lone swan just gliding along in the invasive duck weed.
I used the Canon 40D with the canon 70-300 IS USM lens, edited in LR.

Good shootin' with the 40D, Sandi. I love the detail in the swan, and the reflections. The duck weed looks very nice floating on the water. Beautiful background, too. Very nicely done.

The mossy green layer of algae on top of the water makes this swan pop, Sandi. Nice camera work!

You captured the swan superbly Sandi and it seems to be happy in the duckweed soap and I love all the green in this capture .The light and slight reflection of the swan is very nice too.

this is different, usually the are posted in deep blue waters off shore. i like the green look! and the flipper in the air! nice capture with that element in the shot.
