Another one of the cute duck family, that lives by a pond not far from where I live.I used the canon equipment.

I hope this is not too dark, best viewed full screen.

I have been asked by Joanie to let you know about her mishap. So I pasted her message below.

.I just got home from the hospital today. I broke my left ankle and had to have surgery on it having a plate and 6 pins put in. And I broke my right foot also. That the doctor just had to set and I have a boot cast on that one. I'm surely laid up for awhile! I'm getting ready for bed already cause I'm so tired from not being able to sleep in the hospital!...lol...They were waking me up every 2 hours for one thing or another, and it's difficult for her to sit at the computer desk.

Get well girlfriend!

Thank you for commenting, and for sending your well wishes to our good friend, and talented artist.

This is 100% cuteness - I love it Sandi and does not look too dark at all.

Such a cute family. The lush green grass makes a perfect carpet for them to enjoy. Bravo, Sandi!

An excellent shot Sandi - they couldn't have posed cuter! and not too dark. I'm so sorry to hear of Joanie's mishap - she will definitely be out of commission for a while. I send her my best wishes.

This is like a Betrick Potter scene and so cute looking and your compstion is perfect and the colours are superb .I also love how you captured the softness to the chicks and lovely light plus detail and no it is not to dark . Bless Joanie I know just how she feels I had a bad motor bike accident and trying to rest with pain ,noise and midnight moaners call out nurse can send you mad plus the boredom .So I do hope she get better very soon.

This is an awesome scene. Don't worry about the lighting, the way the scene is staged far out shadowed any other esthetics. I am not that in tune with this clique (I hope you don't mind me referring to it as such) to know who Joanie is. I certainly hope she recovery speedily and isn't in too much pain, although it must be a pain (no pun intended) to deal with such a matter.

There is nothing cuter on earth than a duck, chick or adult alike. Even Boris agrees. You succeeded in displaying 99% of cuteness - 1% comes with motion of the young ones and voices of the adult which both undersigned simply adore ! Yes, adore.
Our sweet Joanie should Skype with us one day and we might put her ways back to the bright side, because she seems to be falling into troubles on a regular basis last months and months. I have a feeling [esoterically speaking] that there is something in her mind that attracts problems. No doctors but friends can help. Meantime please send her our best vibes and wishes.

Pretty high on the cuteness meter Sandi. Sad to hear about Joanie. That makes me hurt to think about it. I hope she gets well soon.

Another good shot of the 39 ducks or whatever number we are up to now. They keep moving around so it's hard to get an accurate count. Hope Joanie has a speedy recovery.
