Was trying for a macro with the new lens (100mm f/2.8 IS USM ) of this little guy, they are small, and quick.

Thank you for commenting, and have a nice day, it's hot, and humid here. Perfect weather to stay inside. :)

This is a pretty good shot of the little guy. I'm a fan of skippers and have gotten a few nice shots of them as they flit about. I like this image.

Those skipper are hard ones to get Sandi as they flit around a lot compared to some other b'flies. Well done - kudos.

This is a really good close-up of a small butterfly. Skippers don't stay still for too long, so this is an exceptional photo op. Very nice in lighting and presentation.

Another great macro from your new lens!
The weather in the UK has been appalling for fauna macro shots so far this year. Lets hope it improves soon!!!

Great shot Sandi. Looking forward to more of your macro photos now. I would suggest to get focused on the eyes of the skipper, though I know it is quite a challenge.

Skippy! Where have you been? Out galavanting with Tigs I see! At least the little guy has got good taste. Great job, Sandi.
