You can see the Monarch developing inside. I used the new 100mm lens for this one.

Thank you for commenting.

I'm still having some internet issues, it comes, and goes, and a new modem should be here Tuesday. They changed the wiring in the box on the outside of the house, but it's still not right. tigs=^..^=

I have a question for you? Can anyone tell me how to fix this on my old laptop- I just got windows 10 loaded on it. When I type anything on it now, I can't get no spacing between the words. So I have to load it and then come to my other laptop, to finish typing. Geez!

First off this is a beautiful image of the transformation of a monarch butterfly. Sharp clear details and soft background. As for the typing issue. Is it in Photoshop or caedes.net that you're typing? I haven't seen that problem in Windows 10 yet. I've have another hardware issue I'm working on at the moment. Nice capture. I like it.

The issue with the typing happens on Caedes, and facebook and even with the text in my editing software. But I don't have that problem on this laptop, which has windows 10also ??? I probably will be visiting the computer shop tomorrow.

I have seen cocoons before but none that was translucent like this. Very nice and unusual shot Sandi. I have no such problem with Windows 10. Anyway the guys in the shop will know better.

Great capture Sandi - the photo site I'm a moderator on has lots of reports from people regarding Windows 10 problems - I'm waiting a while before getting it.

Great capture, don't know about the problem though. Think I'll stay away from Windows 10 as long as I can.

Spectacular shot Tigs - we are not having any success this year with regard to the monarch population - plenty of milkweed is available and no activity is taking place - btw most excellent capture!!!:-):-):-)!!!
