I had the honor of witnessing another Monarch release today.

My friend Brenda has released 100 Monarchs, and has about 30 more.

The ones she is releasing now are the last group of Monarchs this year, and they are the ones that make the long migration.

I'm changing my schedule a bit, so might be posting more at night.

I appreciate the comments, thank you.

Another beauty, Sandi. To me, they are the most recognizable butterfly. I never see any in the wild near me, but that doesn't mean they aren't there. LOL. You did a great job with this shot.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Beautiful shot of the monarch Tigs - it looks to be female as the male has a black dot on each hind wing - I'm wishing them success in their migration - Excellent Capture!!!!!!

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Wowsie, breath taking close up of this magnificent butterfly, love the softened background. Amazing the power these delicate wings can do on their long journey. Wowsie again.
