Since it is officially Autumn I thought I would share this calendar garden display I spotted the other day during my visit.

Editing was done in PhotoPad Image Editor.

Thank you in advance for your comments, and critique.

Excellent colors and textures in this, Sandi. The sunlight is perfect too. The one on the left better make an an appointment with a Dermatologist! lol.

Hello Sandi, this image wasn't showed up at my relative new laptop computer (the computer having difficulties with Windows 10). My DT-computer didn't have this problem, so that I could (and still can) enjoy your colorful and festive composition.
I don't like to copy Jimbob's comment, although I fully agree with him, lol.
Perfect post!

I like the orange one best, but the one with bumps is so unusual looking it makes the shot more interesting, Sandi. Happy Autumn.

'Geleuz de Eysins' is the name I found for the one on the left. The barnacles type growths are actually sugar popping through. They are quite rare.

I like the composition of this Sandi with the brick border in front adding an extra texture. It is a fine photo.
Happy Autumn :)

The grey pumpkin is like the one we had roasted with our dinner tonight ! Yum.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

A very lovely autumnal post Sandi and Lyn is right about the pumpkin on the left - melons can also show sugar spots.

I like the smooth one much better than the ones with knots. They just look diseased to me. A fine display capture. Good job.

I don't know why it is but my eyes are drawn to that freckled pumpkin (I guess it is a pumpkin). I don't think I want to make a pie with it. I'm still a fan of the good old orange pumpkin. I've made one before and now I'm in trouble. They are always after me to make one now. This is a fine one to start the season with Sandi. Good job.
