Here is one more post I wanted to share of this yorkie who at 3 years of age, has earned his grand champion status, and is now retired. I wanted to show his unique color combination.

I do not know anything about Yorkies, but, to me, that seems to be super unusual coloring. If the coloring is rare, I wonder how much it played into the competitions. The dog looks a bit angry. I like big dogs so I will leave it there. You did a masterfully good job in photographing the dog. I hope you presented a bill to the dog's owner ;)

I would guess he likes to snuggle like any other Yorkie even though a grand champ. How does he run with hair flowing on the ground like that? A great portrait, Sandi.

Love the blue/tan combo - you don't see that as often in Yorkies although it is favored at dog shows - he is a beauty Sandy and this is a lovely portrait I'm sure his family will love.
