Practice Shoot #2

This sweetheart seemed to wonder what was going on, but was very well mannered. I used the canon 40D with the sigma 17/70 lens.

After Thanksgiving I will go back for one more practice shoot, and try the canon 18-55mm lens.

Thank you for commenting.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

The capture of the dog itself is great. I would not include the right side background (sticks and lights) as it is distracting. have a solid background.

Poodles are very intelligent but they can also be nervous. Nothing escaped to the attention of this one.
Beautiful portrait, Sandi. Well done again, my friend.

I agree with Owd Momma about the right side Tigz. I know you can't control what background they choose for you.
The portrait is beautiful. On the sliding K scale of one to ten, I would give it a nine. :)

What a particularly nice capture of her eyes Sandi and all the textures came out well. I think I would like to see lights with other than white cord on them against the tree trunk.
