Sorry about removing the first one, I had failed to change it from Tif to Png.

This beautiful tiger was enjoying the sun, and seemed pretty laid back. I was able to experience especially during this visit, their stealth, and quickness, and how quiet they can be, it is amazing.

I just do not understand how anyone can think they have one for pet? As they grow, and need more care that is where the problems start. Also those who cage them in such small quarters that they can't hardly turn around, and sometimes actually abandon them- well I wonder how they would do if treated in the same way. Some of the stories are also of those who did take care of them as a pet, with good enclosures, but due to the owners declining health, or unable to continue the cost of taking care of them, do find a safe home for them. But still they are not good pets by any means.

I appreciate your comments, thank you my friends. tigs-^..^=

Very wise words in the third part of your narrative Sandi!

Splendid capture again, my friend. Male lions are often associated with a king ('King Lion'). If this is a male tiger, I like to associate this tiger with a king as well, with only the minor difference that it's a 'King Tiger', lol.

Perfectly done!

I wholeheartedly agree with you Sandi. Big cats like these should never be kept as pets. This is one cool dude of a cat.

I like your narrative very much Sandi - thoughtful and spoken as a true advocate. Excellent image to go with it.
