Here is one more of the dramatic sunset we had about a week ago. I used the Nikkor 50mm lens for this one.

I'm not sure now that I will be able to do the ride and shoot today, I'm waiting to hear from my daughter, she was feeling under the weather yesterday. But you can bet I will be out trying to get some pics. someplace. :)

Thank you for commenting, I do appreciate your thoughts.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

The low sun highlighting the clouds is beautiful, Sandi. Enjoy today's shoot, wherever you end up.

Very dramatic indeed Sandi. The clouds look beautiful lit up by the setting sun from below.

Talking about a 'dramatic sunset', Sandi: this is a splendid one. It exudes not only beauty but tension as well. In spite of this tension, this scene makes myself at ease. Sounds contradictory, but it isn't, lol.
Perfectly done again, my friend.

This is so natural I feel like I am there, Tigz.
Obviously I don't use my 50mm lens enough.
Hope your daughter feels better.

Well taken and yes, very dramatic skies. Definitely a winter sky too by the coloring.

The 50mm captures a lot of detail in low light. I hope your daughter gets better Sandi. Nice sunset!
