I love this very good sunset scene, Sandi. See that you've chosen for a relative long exposure time, so realizing a somewhat soft and dreamy look of the lake. When one don't like for a 'softened' touch, one can choose (with a camera and lens as you have) for a very brief shutter opening time, but the noise will be intensified at the same time. To choose in such conditions for a proper shutter speed, is always a dilemma for me. Think you'll recognize this, my friend. Very well done and thanks for this beautiful one!

Wow what a spectacular sundown you had - we were getting freezing rain by then and it changed to snow afterwards. I really like the swirling clouds on the right with just a hint of golden glow.
I really appreciate Cornelius' information on camera settings in regards to the image you might like to achieve with a sunset. Longer exposure times tend for a smoother image and deeper saturation giving likely a more calmer image. Good shooting Sandi.
