Here is one of my daughters horse Blaze who is 19 years old.
I did not have time to make adjustments to the camera, so sorry about the overblown background. I do like the details though, and thought I would share it with you.

The detail in Blaze is outstanding Tigz. I agree with SEA's assessment concerning the background.

You were shooting against a bright sky Sandi but you still got a nice and clear close-up of the horse. Good one!

I don't think there is a problem with the background in this Sandi - his details are sharp and clear and his beautiful chestnut color pops against the bright background.

Sandi - I like the bright background as it provides the optimal contrast to allow the eye to focus on this beautiful chestnut colored horse.

Sandi, if you had added a beautiful but artificial clouded sky, the attention to Blaze had weakened, and that would have been, to a certain extend, a shame.
