The contraption in the foreground is actually a mobile watering system.

I appreciate your comments, thank you.

A photo from the heartland of the USA. Nice capture with a good sky. Don't know what that "contraption" is Sandi. A mobile crane ?

This would have been perfect for "Tools of the Trade," contest Tigz. You are like me: "Always a day late and a dollar short!"
Wonderful rural scene. I like the lines of the road and the fields racing down the landscape.

It made me think it's something from another world, and quite fascinating.

I am very familiar with these Sandi - see them a lot downstate and don't feel bad my shot for contest never got picked up and approved in time to enter it in the contest. I posted it 10 hours ahead of time that should have been enough time!

This perspective offers a nice wide scene and the soil color does make this work as well , fine photo.

Great capture of this irrigation system, they must figure on it being dry this year. Looks like nice rich soil though.
