This is displayed in the greenhouse at Defries Gardens. I decided to convert it to B&W for the challenge. Lyn, is needing more entries, so I hope see you there.

Thanks for your comments.

I know of a good dentist that might be able to help. Interesting display and it looks like a perfect entry for the challenge, Sandi.

Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")

Thanks you for entering this in the BWC Sandi ! :)
It is an arresting display and well suited to B&W. Well spotted and expertly taken.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The display is unique and your conversion brought out wonderful light and deep monotones.

Not an ideal subject for display in the greenhouse perhaps but your shot looks good in b/w and makes a good entry for the b/w challenge.

B&W bring out the light and shadows nicely on this one. Great work Sandi.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.

Sandi, to me this is a wonderful 'still life' (both literally and figuratively meant, lol). The deer apparently has waited too long for water, not realizing that the water pump wasn't attached by a water source. The bird however has left the nest on time (after its kids were able to fly away). In brief: a very clever composition with a high level of artistry. Well done, my friend!

Marvelous challenge, the old water pump looks like a animal with a bad hair cut looking through the antlers - really a Cool

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
