I was not sure if should place this under garden or people, I took this one yesterday. The young man was nice, and we chatted alot, I do have his permission to share this with you.

He told me he is a science teacher, and uses his paintings to motivate his class to behave, and do well with their studies.

At the end of the school year, those who do well can take their pick of one of his paintings to take home for a keepsake, and reward. If more than one student likes the same painting he puts their name in a hat. He has the paintings available displayed in his classroom, I thought that was a unique idea, and he told me he works well.

The garden is having a quick paint today, and the participants will have 3 hours to create their art work. He told me he felt he could not pull that off, but after I asked him how long it took him to do this one, he told me 3 hours! I told him hey there ya go! why not give it a try? He messaged me last night on fb, and told me he was going to go back today, and do the quick paint.

If you Click Here it will take you to his fb page for his paintings, and I see that he posted one of the pics. I sent him, I think that is pretty neat. I will send him this one as well. Just scroll down and you will see his art work.

Nice shot of this artist teacher at work on a beautiful painting. I saw that there are some very nice paintings on his Facebook site.

I like that. A picture within a picture. I also like the idea of a science teacher interested in art.

The science teacher was born with artistic talent, an unusual combination. He also has generous nature and cares about his pupils. (o:

Sandi - Excellent photography! As a retired education administrator, I remain continually amazed at the amount of time and personal expense teachers give to their students. Kudos to this man!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Sandi, congrats with your 4th place in the POV contest.
I see now that I haven't commented on this very fine entry, and that's not usual. Think I've missed your capture in the time tat I was absent from Caedes. I still enjoy it now, my friend.
