I have taken an old post, and given it a different look. This is also a reminder that Lyn is in need of entries for the B&W challenge. The list is very short, so I hope you will join us in the challenge. Just let LynEve kow you have one to submit, and she will add it to the list. If you have any questions how it works she will explain the details of the challenge.

Thank you for your comments, I do appreciate it.

This is a nicely edited photo of the tiger. It looks good in b/w Sandi.

My compliments for both a new entry for the B&W challenge and your narrative, Sandi. You've said it very well in the latter, while your entry is a perfect/splendid one again. Kudos, my friend.

I really like the silky look of this one Sandi - whatever you did it truly turned out beautiful. I don't have much in B&W but I'll see if I can convert something.

The closeup and the softening effect you've added makes me want to hug him...better not I guess...but a great image and entry for the challenge...oddly enough this is one image I can open full screen.

Beautifully done. I like the light play and the vertical shadow lines. Very artistic.

Seems to me what a good conversion should look like , good blacks and nice whites , fine image Sandi. I did not get the time this weekend but hope to be entering the contests very soon.

I feel so close to this that one half of me wants to reach out and stroke him and the other half wants to back off in fear.A truly remarkable work Sandi - thank you for entering it in the BWC and for your appreciated encouragement to others to participate. As you said - the list is very small.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
