This monarch was in peak form, and enjoying the butterfly bush at the garden yesterday. I imagine she will be starting her long migration soon.

Absolutely stunning, they sure are a beautiful butterfly. This might be silly, is there a difference between the male and females - I don't know a thing about them.

Sandi, in nature the males are more handsome than the females, but think that we can see here now the well known exception to the rule ☺.

Great photo, I planted milk weed last spring in my yard to attract the Monarchs but they did not bloom yet. Maybe next year.
